The Best Free Human Design Chart Generators, Compared
A good free Human Design chart generator does three things: it shows your full bodygraph with your type, strategy, authority and profile, it does not ask for your email before showing it, and it runs on real ephemeris math. Judged that way, the popular tools split into two clear groups. Several ask for an email address or a free account before you see your chart. A few show you everything with no signup at all.
Full disclosure before we compare anyone: Innaluma runs one of the tools below. This is our site's tool. Judge it by the same criteria as the rest. Everything we say about the other tools comes from what their own public pages showed when we checked them in July 2026.
What makes a free chart generator actually good
Free chart tools all ask for the same three inputs, your birth date, time and place, so the differences show up in what happens next. Three criteria separate the useful ones from the rest:
- A complete result. At minimum, your type (one of the five Human Design types), your strategy, your authority and your profile. The better tools also draw the full bodygraph, with your defined and undefined centers and channels, because that is where a real reading eventually goes.
- No gate. Your birth data should be enough. A tool that holds the chart hostage until you hand over an email address is running a mailing-list funnel, which is legitimate, but it should count against it in a comparison of free tools.
- Accurate math. A Human Design chart is astronomy plus a mapping: planetary positions at your birth and roughly 88 days before, computed from ephemeris data. Any serious tool computes the same positions, so the same birth data should give the same type, authority and profile everywhere.
How we checked
In July 2026 we reviewed each tool's public pages and recorded what they ask for before a chart appears. Some calculators are embedded widgets that only run in the browser. Where we could not inspect the form itself, we report the site's own words as a claim and say so. We did not verify anything we could not see, and one popular tool, Genetic Matrix, blocked our check entirely, so it gets no row in the table.
Eight free chart generators, compared
| Tool | Email or account? | What the free chart shows | Notable |
|---|---|---|---|
| Innaluma (this site) | No signup | Full bodygraph: type, strategy, authority, profile, defined channels and centers | Chart available in English, French and Spanish |
| myBodyGraph | Free account required (per its own copy) | Full BodyGraph plus a free Foundational Analysis | Where the official Jovian Archive site sends you for charts |
| My Human Design | Email required (the form validates it) | Type and chart | Newsletter opt-in is a separate checkbox. The email itself is for the chart |
| humandesignchart.org | No signup (verified: no email field exists) | Bodygraph, type, profile | States "no payment, no signup". Name field marked optional |
| IHDS (ihdschool.com) | No email for the base chart | Chart from a simple birth-data form | Separate "free report" flow we could not fully verify |
| human.design | Chart flow appears open. The free Report requires an account (their copy) | Basic chart. A deeper free report behind signup | Its own pages state the account rule for the report explicitly |
| HD & Me | No signup language on the page. States the chart is free (embedded widget we could not inspect) | Type and core chart details, per its own claim | Calculator is a third-party embed |
| Pure Generators | States "no sign-up required" (embedded widget we could not inspect) | "Complete BodyGraph", per its own claim | Optional paid personal report at $9.99 |
Every row reflects what each site's public pages showed when we checked in July 2026. Tools change: a gate can be added or dropped at any time.
The tools, one by one
Innaluma (this site)
Our tool asks for your birth date, time and place and shows the result immediately: your full bodygraph with type, strategy, authority, profile, your defined channels and your nine centers, no email and no account. The math runs on real ephemeris calculations, the same astronomical data professional astrology software uses. It is available in English, French and Spanish. We built it, so weigh this paragraph accordingly and hold it to the same standard as everything else on this page.
myBodyGraph: where the official site sends you
myBodyGraph is where Jovian Archive, the official Human Design organization, sends you for a chart: its own "get your chart" page hosts no calculator and links you straight there. Its copy states that a free account includes unlimited chart creation and a free Foundational Analysis. The account gate is real, but be fair about what sits behind it: that free Foundational Analysis is genuinely substantial, and if signing up does not bother you, this is one of the strongest free offers on the list.
My Human Design
My Human Design embeds its chart form right on the homepage, and that form includes an email field the site validates before your chart appears. The newsletter opt-in is a separate checkbox, which means the email address itself is required for the chart rather than being a mailing-list choice. Nothing wrong with that trade, as long as you make it with clear eyes.
humandesignchart.org
This site renders its chart form directly in the page, which let us verify it field by field: there is no email input anywhere in the document, and the name field is explicitly marked optional. The page states "no payment, no signup", and the form we inspected matches the claim. Of the tools we could fully verify, it is the clearest no-gate option apart from our own.
IHDS (ihdschool.com)
The International Human Design School offers a plain birth-data form for its free chart, with no email field in it. It also offers a separate "free personalized report". The evidence on how that flow handles your email was ambiguous when we checked, so we make no claim about it either way. The school's main business is professional Human Design education, and the free chart is the front door to it.
human.design
human.design deserves the nuance its own pages draw. The basic "get your chart" flow describes entering birth details to generate your chart, with no mention of an email or account, while the free Report states plainly that "a free account is required". Read it as a split: chart open, deeper report gated. We could not inspect the chart form itself, so the open chart is their copy's word, not our verification.
HD & Me and Pure Generators
Both sites run their calculators through embedded third-party chart widgets, which means we could not inspect the actual form fields. HD & Me states that the chart is free and that you see your details right away, and we found no signup language anywhere on its chart page. Pure Generators states "no sign-up required" and sells an optional personalized report for $9.99. Treat both as the sites' own claims rather than independently verified facts.
What about Genetic Matrix and Jovian Archive?
Genetic Matrix appears in nearly every list of chart generators, but its site blocked our automated check, so we could not verify anything about its free tier and will not guess. And one correction worth knowing: Jovian Archive does not host a free chart tool of its own at all. Its chart page links you directly to myBodyGraph.
What a free chart can and can't give you
A free chart, from any tool on this list, gives you data: your type, strategy, authority, profile, and, in the fuller tools, your centers and channels. If the math is done properly, that data is as accurate from a free tool as from a paid one. It is the same sky and the same calculation.
What no free generator gives you is the interpretation: how your authority actually plays out in a real decision, what your open centers do to you in a full office, how the pieces of your chart pull against each other. The chart is the map. Reading it is a separate skill. Start with our guide on how to read your Human Design chart, which walks the layers in the right order. And when you want the full interpretation written for your specific chart, that is what a personalized reading is for. Ours, to be clear, so the same disclosure applies.
Common questions
Are free Human Design charts accurate?
The underlying math is astronomy: planetary positions at your birth and about 88 days before, computed from ephemeris data. Any tool that does this properly returns the same type, authority and profile from the same birth data. You can read how we calculate charts on our methodology page.
Why do some chart sites ask for your email?
Lead capture. A free chart page attracts a lot of visitors, and an email field turns them into a mailing list for courses, apps and readings. That is a legitimate business model, not a scam, but you should know the trade you are making before you type your address.
Which Human Design chart generators require no email?
When we checked in July 2026: humandesignchart.org and the IHDS base chart showed no email field, and Innaluma’s own free chart requires no signup either. Pure Generators states "no sign-up required" outright, and HD & Me’s page shows no signup step and calls the chart free, but neither embedded calculator let us verify it.
Is the official chart generator better?
myBodyGraph is the tool the official organization’s site sends you to, and its own copy says a free account is required. The free Foundational Analysis behind that account is genuinely good. But "better" is the wrong frame for the math: from the same birth data, every serious generator should agree on your type, strategy, authority and profile.
